Statement Of Faith

Statement of Faith

Our Biblical Foundation

At CROP Ministries, our faith is anchored in the truth of God’s Word and the timeless principles that guide Christian families. This Statement of Faith outlines the core beliefs that shape our educational content, community values, and ministry approach.

What We Believe

The Word of God

We believe that the Bible is the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

The Scriptures serve as our ultimate authority for faith and practice. All our courses, materials, and teachings are grounded in biblical truth and designed to help families grow in their understanding and application of God’s Word.

The Nature of God

We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

Our triune God is the foundation of all existence and the source of all wisdom for family life. We teach families to honor God in their relationships and to seek His guidance in raising the next generation.

Jesus Christ Our Lord

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 1:1), in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:18,25), in His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (Hebrews 9:15-22), in His bodily resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-8), in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Acts 1:9-11) and in His personal return in power and glory (Hebrews 9:27-28).

Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith and the ultimate example for Christian character. Our educational materials point families to Christ as the model for godly living and the source of true transformation.

Salvation by Grace

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men and women, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (John 3:16; John 5:24; Titus 3:3-7).

Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through works or human effort. We encourage parents to share the gospel with their children while recognizing that each person must make their own decision to follow Christ.

The Holy Spirit’s Ministry

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (John 14:15-26; John 16:5-16; Ephesians 1:13-14).

The Holy Spirit empowers believers for Christian living and service. We teach parents to rely on the Spirit’s guidance in their parenting journey and to help their children understand the importance of walking in the Spirit.

Resurrection and Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: for those who are saved, unto the resurrection of life; for those who are lost, unto the resurrection of separation from God (Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

The reality of eternity motivates us to prepare the next generation for both this life and the life to come. Our educational approach emphasizes the importance of making wise choices with eternal perspectives in mind.

The Church and Christian Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers and the fellowship of the church in our Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:1-14).

The church, comprised of all believers, is God’s chosen instrument for advancing His Kingdom. We encourage families to be actively involved in local church communities while maintaining unity with believers across denominational lines.

How Our Faith Shapes Our Ministry

Biblical Worldview

Our courses are designed to help families develop and maintain a consistently biblical worldview in all areas of life, including:

  • Character development and moral decision-making
  • Understanding identity and purpose through God’s design
  • Building healthy relationships based on biblical principles
  • Stewarding gifts, talents, and resources for God’s glory
  • Engaging culture with wisdom and grace

Parent as Primary Educator

We believe God has entrusted parents with the primary responsibility for their children’s education and spiritual development (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 6:4). Our role is to equip and support parents in fulfilling this calling.

Transformational Learning

True education involves more than acquiring knowledge—it requires heart transformation through the power of God’s Word and Spirit. Our materials are designed to engage both mind and heart, leading to lasting life change.

Character Before Career

While we address practical life skills and preparation for the future, we prioritize character development and spiritual maturity as the foundation for all other success.

Grace-Based Approach

We recognize that all families are works in progress. Our content reflects God’s grace, offering hope and practical help for parents who desire to grow in their faith and parenting effectiveness.

Our Educational Philosophy

Scripture-Centered

All content is rooted in biblical truth and designed to help families apply God’s Word to daily life situations.

Age-Appropriate

Materials are designed for the developmental needs of young people (ages 11-16) while respecting parental authority and family values.

Practical Application

We emphasize not just what to believe, but how to live out those beliefs in real-world circumstances.

Family-Focused

Rather than replacing family discipleship, our resources are designed to strengthen family bonds and enhance parent-child relationships.

Community-Minded

While honoring individual family differences, we encourage connection with other like-minded families for mutual support and encouragement.

Our Commitment to Families

Doctrinal Clarity

We present our beliefs clearly and unapologetically while respecting families who may hold different perspectives on secondary issues.

Cultural Sensitivity

While maintaining biblical convictions, we recognize that families serve Christ in diverse cultural contexts and circumstances.

Ongoing Support

Our community and resources provide long-term support for families throughout their parenting journey.

Practical Wisdom

We combine biblical truth with practical wisdom to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children in today’s world.

Christ-Centered Hope

Above all, we point families to Jesus Christ as their source of strength, wisdom, and hope for both present challenges and future opportunities.

For Families Considering Our Programs

Alignment Expectation

While we welcome families from diverse backgrounds, our content is specifically designed for those who generally align with our Statement of Faith. This ensures the most beneficial experience for all participants.

Respectful Dialogue

We encourage questions and healthy discussion while maintaining an environment of mutual respect and biblical focus.

Growth-Oriented

We recognize that all believers are growing in their understanding of God’s truth. Our community is designed to support this growth process with grace and encouragement.

Action-Oriented

Our goal is not simply intellectual agreement but practical transformation in family life and individual character.
